The exhibition features a variety of 50 works of art that were created by 37 artists. The exhibiting artists are: Claire-Lyne Xylena Apotheloz, Nancy Asbell, Roberta Bloom, Libby Bloom, Amanda Boekhout, Paige Broadbent, CJ Calvin, Jerry Coker, Fleta Collins, Reyna Collura, Aliye Cullu, Frank Curtis, Sandra de Nijs, Carol Drummond, Elayne Dubin, Duane Ellifritt, Lorelei Esser, Kathleen Giddens, Rose Haftka, Linda Henderson, Carline Hines, Renee Hoffinger, Miquel Kendrick, Harimandir Khalsa, Adria Klausner, Wes Kline, Grace Leal, Patricia Linck, Nancy
Moskovitz, Linda Pence, Sherrie Pettigrew,
Phil Robinson, Ed Rowe, Sidney Lanier High School art students taught by Monica Coker, Frank Sledge, Andrew Stringfellow, and Ellen West.
The exhibition demonstrates the importance of the relationship between art and health. It encourages empathy, understanding, and awareness of the role of art in maintaining physical, mental and spiritual well-being. It also explores how art can act as a part of the healing process, and as a tool for connection and cooperation between people. |
