2nd ANNUAL JUNETEENTH FESTIVAL & A cultural extravaganza featuring fine, folk, and performing arts in celebration of the vital tradition of Juneteenth, the day the last slaves in the US received word of their freedom as a result of the Emancipation Proclamation. J Fest is produced by The Cotton Club Museum & Cultural Center, Inc. (CCMCC). The CCMCC is a sustainable rehabilitation project of a former African American music hall located in East Gainesville.
